Glenwood Canyon Recreational Trail

It begins near the Hot Springs Pool, and it winds, twists, and hugs the Colorado for 18 miles. Cyclists, skaters, walkers, hikers, rafters and kayakers can enjoy their sport in this stunning setting of steep canyon walls etched by the raring Colorado River.

The Trails

The trail is ten feet wide and paved. There are four rest areas along the trail that offer restroom facilities, fresh drinking water, telephones, and picnic areas. Because the trail follows the Colorado River, if you cycle in the western direction you will enjoy a comfortable downhill pace.

Have an Adventure

Hiking trails in the Glenwood Canyon include Grizzly Creek, No Name, and the unforgettable Hanging Lake.
