Escape from the Ordinary!
We know that travelers yearn for something special when they get off the highway in search of a good nights’ sleep. It’s one of the driving forces behind our philosophies here at The Hotel Denver in Glenwood Springs. Every room in our hotel is different! We have styles to fit every taste and budget. From our “value” and “standard” rooms to our specialty suites, there is sure to be one just right for you.
Our Colorado Rooms offer some of the best views in the city with mountains and the Colorado River out the window. Room 304 is one of our Colorado Rooms. It has a queen size bed and a very comfortable sitting area in 357 square feet of original hard wood and tile floors. Its the perfect romantic hideaway for a couple! This room was recently renovated and has become a guest favorite because of its views and it’s very contented and regal setting.
Guests enjoy high-speed wireless internet, first run movies, in-room coffee maker, hand picked quilts and antique furnishings. If you don’t need the sitting area found in our Colorado rooms, our Denver rooms feature much the same views in a slightly smaller space. On the other end of the scale, we also have a few specialty rooms and suites that offer even more space and special amenities
We enjoyed our stay so much (7/6-7/7) we are already planning another. My only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to actually sit and relax. Toying with the idea of Thanksgiving week and were curious what the weather and activities would be like. I think I have convinced a friend to join us for the train ride out and a wonderful stay at the Hotel Denver. Thanks for any input.
Thanksgiving is a great time in Glenwood Springs. The Hot Springs Pool and Spa are open, and an evening swim can get beautifully steamy. Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is also open, and the Caverns are warmer inside than out, at a consistent 52 degrees. The historic hotel across the river from The Hotel Denver has a Christmas lighting extravaganza. View it best from The Hotel Denver. The weather can do just about anything – so come prepared.
